growing up, every girl i knew was obsessed with the soundtrack to grease but it was impossible for me to ever really understand what the fascination was. then i overheard sia and beck covering *the one that i want* and was given an entirely different perspective.

back in 2003, after watching zero 7 play, beck immediately telephoned their management, asking if sia may choose a song and perform live with him.

sia's recollection: "i suggested it as a joke; but we changed the major to a minor, made it really slow and turned it into a bit of a country stalker anthem."

it was their first time meeting and together their voices blended beautifully falling in line with one another. after listening, you too, may never look at this song the same way again.
